T-Mobile to Re-introduce the Sidekick as a 4G-Android-Powered…

…and coming soon, will also be a Sidekick 4G. Everybody knows the Sidekick, and we’re going to relaunch the Sidekick and bring it as a 4G device, Android based, into the market.

  you all realize that Andy Rubin the head design tech for android was also the creator of android and started danger inc the firm responsible for the t-mobile sidekick. I had a sidekick as my first attempt at a smartphone. I kinda saw this coming It was kinda his baby I think.

I had a sidekick 3 a while back, and i LOVED IT! i didnt really know what a true smartphone back then was, until i got my droid, because the sidekick was kinda lacking in its software. BUT SIDEKICK WITH FUCKIIN ANDROID!? Im going to sell my droid2, cancel my contract, and go to AT&T.

  I had the Sidekick 3 as well and only got rid of it when a guy offered my $200 for it a year after I bought it, and you’re right, a Sidekick running Android would be a monster. Not a perversion of nature like an i*hone running Android, but “Godzilla smashing Tokyo” kind of monster. I’m not a fan of T-Mo’s Network but I have a lot of thinking to do now.

i have to say that i would love to have this phone, if it wasn’t on the crappiest network in the country. But i loved my sideckick II… it had the best keyboard i’ve ever dealt with. in retrospect, i never would’ve gotten the MDA to replace it. Now i’m on verizon sporting the dx.
