Sprint just got done announcing the HTC EVO View 4G as their first 4G Android tablet, leaving many to wonder when the wifi-only version would be available.  The answer:  this spring at Best Buy.  It won’t rock the name EVO View 4G, but will instead pick up the HTC Flyer name we saw when the device was first debuted back at MWC in February.

A spec recap:

  • 7″ display (1024 X 600)
  • 1.5GHz single core processor
  • Android 2.3 with Sense for tablets
  • 1GB RAM
  • 32GB internal storage
  • 5MP rear camera, 1.3MP front camera

It’s not a bad looking tablet, but the lack of Honeycomb is a bit disappointing.  It’s also not sporting a dual-core processor like all of the other new tablets in the game, but it does have Scribe technology.
