We have been waiting to hear about the processor that will power T-Mobile’s Samsung Galaxy SII variant ever since we had a hands on behind glass look with the device at the Samsung event in New York just 2 weeks ago. The Galaxy Support Twitter account has confirmed that a Qualcomm 1.5Ghz dual-core APQ8060 processor will power the 4.52″ Super AMOLED Plus device.

It is known that the Samsung Exynos processor would be supposedly incompatible with T-Mo’s 42Mbps HSPA+ network, so they have decided to go with Qualcomm. This phone is getting more and more beefy as the days go by. Anyone against the decision on processors, or is everyone delighted? I for one can not wait to get my hands on one. I just wish T-Mobile reconsidered the extreme curvy body design.
