The original Toshiba Thrive was quietly one of the most sound Android tablets in the market and before they get to their new Excite tablet, they are pushing out a smaller version of their current platform to the market. The specs are mostly the same as its bigger brother; Tegra 2 dual-core processor, 16 and 32GB memory options and like its predecessor, full sized USB and HDMI ports.

It will run Android Honeycomb 3.2 which is optimized for smaller tablets and Toshiba does not have a custom skin that they like to slap onto these slates so it will be a full Google experience. Pricing is yet to be announced, but I have to say I am still ‘Excited’ for their next tablet. This will be a fairly decent tablet in the lower range of price, does this interest anyone?
