Best Buy To Begin Selling HTC Flyer For Just $299, Starting October 1st

Potential buyers of the HTC Flyer should start getting pumped for October 1, when Best Buy will slash the price of the popular HTC tablet by $200 from $499 to just $299. The Flyer comes with a lovely 7″ screen running Android 2.3, all powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core processor. And who can argue with that beautiful stylus? (stylus not included with purchase)

Christmas gifts for the entire family possibly? I think with Amazon’s Kindle Fire coming in at $200, the tablet game just took a much needed change towards the cheaper side of things.

Thanks Amazon, you are making us Droiders very happy with the launch of a $200 tablet, which will force all other tablets (i.e. xooms, galaxy tabs, etc.) down a few hundred bucks.

I got a little excited when i read the 1.5ghz dual core. bout to say sign me up! but tis too good to be true. still a good deal if youre looking to get a mobile tablet

I’m gonna go pick one up. I have used both Honeycomb tablets (Acer Iconia) and (Galaxy Tab7/Gingerbread). Honeycomb in its current state isn’t all that appealing to me. A big part of that is app compatibility, although daily things are getting better market wise. in my opinion. I would rather have a Gingerbread tablet. I could care less about the stylus/pen. HTC makes solid products and I am a fan on Sense 3.0. So, to me this is a great deal. Amazon has done a great thing with their pricing scheme for the Kindle Fire and was a much need change. Hopefully now all the OEM’s will fall in line. Lets face it our phones can do anything that a tablet can so really its just another toy unless you don’t own laptop,desktop,or netbook.,
