With so much talk of the Galaxy SII finally receiving a release date for T-Mobile, it almost seems that everyone skipped over HTC’s Amaze 4G. Specs wise, this phone is just as good as the Galaxy SII – a powerful 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon S3 processor, 1GB of RAM, NFC chip, HTC Sense 3.0 running on top of Android 2.3.4, an 8MP rear camera that can record 1080p video, access to T-Mobile’s HSPA+ “4G” network, and all on a 4.3-inch qHD Super LCD display. Cha-ching!
The device is available for pre-orders starting October 10th and will go on sale two days later on October 12th. It will be priced at $259 with a two-year contract after a $50 mail-in-rebate. This device looks essentially like a super beefed up Nexus One on steroids. Yes, please.
