One of the first legal battles that Samsung lost against Apple was in Germany where the courts decided that the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 was too much like the iPad 2 to be sold in the country. We all remember the photoshopped photos used as evidence in court and the ensuing rage that surrounded it, but the ban of sales still holds to this day. It seems that rather than waiting for the courts to finish ruling on the case, Samsung has taken to giving the Tab a slight redesign.

See that silver bezel around the edges of the Tab? It’s a much increased size and different color than before that is akin to the HTC Flyer. It has speakers built into the new bezel as well so it is not all just for show. Will we ever see this new bezel here in the States? Probably not, the only case that Samsung is fighting here is in California, and that involves the iPhone. This may make its way over to Australia though where the legal battles are getting a bit heated as of late.
