It does not get much easier when it comes to development when your handset maker allows you to unlock the bootloader and gives you the source code to the phone. HTC has continued their well praised effort to support the Android developer community by adding the ability to unlock the HTC Evo View 4G and the myTouch 4G Slide.
These two phones come on Sprint and T-Mobile respectively and HTC is really gathering some steam with their HTCDev website. It is not uncommon for a phone to come out and have the source code or an unlock of the bootloader within two or three weeks after it’s launch. Any devs take advantage of HTCDev?
