We have heard that the HTC Ville will be hitting T-Mobile as HTC’s thinnest phone to date, but up until now we have never really seen the device in the flesh. And while we do not know when we will ever see this device, someone though has the device in their hands though and leaked a few photos and specifications for us to drool all over.
The (translated) page of the website that got their hands on the phone has confirmed all the specs for this device that was have heard so far. 1.5GHz dual-core processor shoehorned into an 8mm body. The phone has an 8MP camera on the back but curiously the phone is still rocking a 540 x 960 qHD display. In this day and age, 720p displays are all the rage and it’s curious to see HTC sticking with the lower resolution. The battery clocks in at 1650mAh to give you a fair amount of juice.
The only thing we are curious about is the screenshots definitely show an older version of Sense, HTC’s Android skin. Ice Cream Sandwich and Sense 3.0 play nice, but with the Sense 4.0 talk buzzing about lately it is interesting to see that this phone is not loaded with it. Maybe an update will come soon, after all Mobile World Congress is just around the corner. Is it as slim as you were hoping?
