The VP of Google’s NFC payment system Google Wallet, spoke at MWC today, stating that Sprint has big plans for Wallet this year. The nation’s third largest mobile carrier has plans to bring support to at least 10 additional phones in 2012, starting with the LG Viper in early Spring. As of now, Sprint only supports Google Wallet for the Nexus S and the Samsung Galaxy Nexus. With no mention as to which other devices could see this support, we’ll be sure to keep our ears open. This is good news for Sprint customers.
