Store tags for the Galaxy Nexus and the LG Viper are starting to pop up in Sprint stores, which means that release could be right around the corner. The Viper, which sports a 1.2GHz dual core processor and capable of running on Sprint’s new 4G LTE network, is more of an entry level smartphone for people looking for a lot of power at a reasonable price point.
Sprint will be the only carrier besides Verizon that will directly sell the Galaxy Nexus, but will also be making Google Wallet available unlike Big Red. The Galaxy Nexus is sure to become as popular on Sprint as it already is on Verizon.
The last rumored release date we heard was April 15, so we may find out what’s going on quite shortly.
